Costa del Sol is one of the most attractive places in Spain, and recent investments confirm that this coastal region has much more to offer. One of the latest projects that has captured the attention of investors is Acciona’s investment in the Los Álamos area, located in Torreguadiaro near Sotogrande.
The investment, valued at over 100 million euros, encompasses the construction of a hotel and 100 new apartments associated with the hotel’s services. Mayor of San Roque, Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, expressed his appreciation for this investment, emphasizing its significant impact on job creation during both the construction phase and after completion.
Acciona has acquired a 14-hectare area near Sotogrande, where they plan to build a hotel with 115 rooms and 100 apartments connected to the hotel services. The project received official approval from the City Council in March of last year, with positive technical feedback from suppliers and relevant authorities.
The mayor underscored the importance of this investment for the development of tourism, real estate, and construction sectors, estimating the total investment to exceed 100 million euros. Ruiz Boix highlighted that the project would contribute significantly to job growth, not only during construction but especially after the hotel and associated apartments are operational, offering over 250 lodging spaces.
He publicly expressed his support for the project, emphasizing that job creation, particularly in permanent positions related to the operation of the new hotel, is a top priority for the San Roque government.
Costa del Sol, especially the region facing Gibraltar, is becoming a hub of intense development. Investments such as the Los Álamos project not only add allure to this region but also create excellent opportunities for prospective investors interested in purchasing properties in these locations. This is exciting news for those who recognize the potential in the development of this charming area of Costa del Sol.
